ADVENTURE

Join the IRIS ‘Cheer Squad’ at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift in partnership with komoot
We love the professional women’s peloton just as much as we love you, our colourful confident community and we’re bringing you together on the Cote de la Redoute at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift for one big cheering party!

We have teamed up again with our favourite route planning app komoot to support this iconic women’s cycling event. This year the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift starts in Rotterdam and finishes on the Alpe d’Huez, crossing the Netherlands and Belgium.

On August 14, the women’s peloton will race from Valkenburg (NL) to Liege (BE), tackling some of Belgium’s most iconic climbs along the way. But the real party? It’s happening at the Cote de la Redoute, one of the most feared (and fabulous) climbs of them all.

Join the ‘Cheer Squad’!

We’re rallying cycling fans from far and wide to join us at TDFF in our signature IRIS style — think bright, bold, and oh-so-colourful! To make this event extra special, we’ve partnered with the creative geniuses at Eindhoven-based HeyHeydeHaas to design a Limited Edition t-shirt that you’ll definitely want in your wardrobe.

We’ve got the cheering materials covered and plans to paint the road so bright they’ll see us from space (or at least the TV helicopter!) So, grab your bike, your loudest voice, your brightest gear, and get ready to cheer on the badass women racing the Tour.

Make it an adventure with your friends!

Bring your cycling friends and join us the night before (August 13) at a campsite near the iconic Cote de la Redoute. It’s the perfect spot to meet, chill, camp, and gear up for the ultimate cheering party!

No matter where you’re pedalling in from, add your route to our komoot collection. This way we can inspire as many women as possible to take on a big or smaller adventure to the Belgian Ardennes, and you never know who you might meet along the way!

As a bonus, komoot is offering 50 camp spots at Domaine Chateau de Dieupart on a first-come, first-served basis. If you miss out, don’t worry! You can book your own spot at the same campsite or nearby. And, if you’re having too much fun to leave, book a second night and keep the party going!

How can you join?

1. Sign up via Atleta and reserve your campsite spot and t-shirt. T-shirt pre-order is open until July 5.
2. Add your route to our komoot collection (by inviting IRIS to your tour)

Iris Slappendel, Founder of IRIS, expressed her excitement about the event:

“I am thrilled to collaborate with komoot again to support women’s cycling and the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift this summer. As a former professional cyclist, it is incredible to see the growth in women’s cycling over the past decade. However, there is still much progress to be made. By creating the Cheering Corner and celebrating the pro peloton, we hope to contribute positively to the ongoing advancements in women’s cycling.”

HeyHeydeHaas said of the collaboration: “Apart from being cycling enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers ourselves, we believe it’s (way past) time the old boys networks in society (and sports) move over and out of the way for equal opportunities and fairness. All the more reason to cheer for the femmes! Besides that, Iris is a notorious allround nice person and a pleasure to work with”

About the brands:

IRIS

As a women-owned and led brand, IRIS is committed to creating long-term, sustainable change in the cycling world, from grassroots initiatives to the professional peloton. The ‘Cheering Corner’ will seamlessly integrate these efforts, by creating a space to support women’s cycling whilst of course dressed in style.

HeyHeydeHaas

HeyHeydeHaas have a passion for creating original content. They work hands-on, on design, brand and identity development in both the physical and digital realm. They strongly believe in the curiosity and intelligence of their clients and people in general.

Komoot

Komoot, the official tour planning and navigation app for the activity, will create a dedicated collection with IRIS founder Iris Slappendel. This collection will detail the route to the ‘Cheering Corner’ and allow participants to share their travel plans, encouraging communal travel. Komoot's user-friendly platform makes it easy for cyclists of all levels to plan routes, and by supporting this event, komoot aims to empower women to explore new paths and experience the joy of cycling within a supportive and inclusive community.
