Shoulder Season (10-18 °C)
When the days grow shorter and the weather becomes unpredictable, versatility is key. The air starts to be cooler, but when the sun peeks through, it can still be comfortably warm. Instead of fully swapping your summer wardrobe for winter gear, focus on adding lightweight, removable layers to your warm-weather kit.
Start with bib shorts and a short sleeve jersey as your base. Add arm and leg warmers, along with a gilet, to easily adapt to make layering up or down a breeze. If you tend to run a little cold, you can swap the short-sleeve and arm warmer combo for a long sleeve jersey — your call!
Early Winter (5-15 °C)
When the temp comes down a little bit more, it’s time to change up the layering system. We’ve got you covered with the Long Sleeve jerseys, wind vest, light winter tights, Merino neck warmer and a cap. Perfect for autumn, spring, and even those milder winter days, our long-sleeve jerseys are luxuriously soft on the inside and great at keeping the chill at bay.
When it’s just a little colder and sure to warm up later you throw on the Just In Case vest (guess how we came up with that name ;-)) or the insulated padded vest when it’s colder. Both tuck neatly into a back pocket, ready to keep your core cosy as you roll out. Throw on a cap to keep your head warm and a Merino neck warmer to block out the wind sneaking down your collar, and you’re good to go! And of course, don’t forget a pair of colorful socks to finish off your look!
Deep Winter (5 °C and below)
For those crisp winter days when you’re ready to brave the cold, we’ve designed the Signature Winter bib Tight 2.0, Women’s Winter Jacket, and Morpha Softshell Winter to keep you comfortable and riding in colourful confidence.
The Signature Winter bib Tight 2.0 is packed with features to keep you riding through winter. It boasts a DWR coating to repel road spray and light rain, windproof front panels, and a fleece-lined interior to keep you snug and cozy on the coldest days. Pair it with our winter jackets, which eliminate the need for excessive layering. The quilted front panel keeps the cold at bay and is available in two stylish colorways: Spinosa and Ditch. All you need underneath is a quality base layer.
For harsher or more unpredictable weather, we recommend the Morpha Softshell Winter Jacket. Built for the toughest winter conditions, it features an innovative three-layer softshell material that perfectly balances warmth and breathability while excelling at repelling water and blocking wind.
When the temperature really plummets, don’t forget the essential accessories. Did you know covering your head is the best way to stay warm? That’s why a cap is a must for cold-weather riding. Add a Merino Neck Warmer and Merino socks to complete your kit. With these essentials, you’ll stay warm and comfortable no matter the conditions.
Versatile warmth for every season
Our Women’s Escape Pullover is a technical mid-layer made from Pontetorto Tecnowool, blending the natural warmth of wool with the durability and fast-drying properties of synthetic fibers. The fabric features a technical ‘waffle’ knit that adds texture and enhances warmth while keeping the pullover lightweight and fully breathable.
This versatility makes the Escape Pullover perfect as an outer layer in early winter, spring, or on warmer winter days. In colder conditions, such as deep winter, it works brilliantly as a mid-layer paired with a wind vest or our padded vest. It’s also a great choice to throw on for any outdoor—or even indoor—activity.
We hope this article inspires your cold-weather layering! Treat it as a guide and feel free to experiment—there are no hard rules. Our designs are made to mix and match across collections, ensuring every piece stays useful and wearable season after season.
